Ingredients
- 1 whole Brown onion diced small
- 1 tbsp Olive oil extra virgin
- 2 tsp Garlic crushed
- 1 whole Chilli finely chopped deseeded
- 500 g Fresh tomatoes chopped coarsely
- 2 tbsp Raw sugar
- 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
Low Carb option
- 2 tbsp Monk Fruit Sugar
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a medium saucepan over moderate heat.1 tbsp Olive oil
- Cook onion for about 5 minutes until soft.1 whole Brown onion diced
- Add garlic, chilli and cook, stirring for another 2 minutes.2 tsp Garlic crushed, 1 whole Chilli finely chopped
- Add tomato, stirring for another 5 minutes.500 g Fresh tomatoes chopped
- Add sugar and vinegar and cook for a further 10 minutes or until thickened.2 tbsp Raw sugar, 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
- Serve with your burger, sandwich or meat dish
Low Carb Option
- Add Monk Fruit Sugar in place of Raw Sugar2 tbsp Monk Fruit Sugar
