Cauliflower Rice

Five minutes to prepare Cauliflower Rice is a great substitute for rice, potatoes, cous cous or any carbohydrate. Not only is it low carb it is surprisingly tasty as well.

Ingredients:

    • 1 head of cauliflower

Instructions:

1. Use a food processor
  • Cut / break cauliflower including stems into pieces.
  • Pulse until the pieces are the size of cooked rice.
  • Rinse and repeat
2. Cook (can be used raw)
  • Oven.
    1. Mix with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
    2. Spread on a tray covered with baking paper.
    3. Oven to 200C
    4. Cook for 15 mins turning at halfway. 
  • Microwave
    1. Place in a glass container.
    2. Cook on high for 4-5 minutes.
  • Stovetop
    1. Mix with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
    2. Cook in a large frypan for 5 minutes stirring every now and then.
3. Serve

Cauliflower Rice

  • In place of rice, cous cous or noodles.
